കേരള ടൂറിസത്തിന്റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ട്വിറ്ററിൽ വന്ന ബീഫ് വിഭവത്തെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള പോസ്റ്റിന്റെ പേരിൽ വാക്ക്പോരിന് തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ് ചിലർ. ജനപ്രിയ പ്രാദേശിക വിഭവമായ ‘ബീഫ് ഉലർത്തിയതിന്റെ (ബീഫ് ഫ്രൈ)’ ഫോട്ടോ ബുധനാഴ്ച കേരള ടൂറിസത്തിന്റെ ട്വിറ്ററിൽ പോസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. കേരള ടൂറിസം തങ്ങളുടെ വെബ്സൈറ്റിലെ, ഇതേ വിഭവത്തിന്റെ പാചകക്കുറിപ്പിലേക്കുള്ള ലിങ്ക് ഇതോടൊപ്പം വെച്ചിരുന്നു. അതേസമയം കേരള ടൂറിസം ബീഫിന്റെ ഫോട്ടോ പോസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത് ‘ മതവികാരത്തെ വ്രണപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു’ എന്ന് അവകാശപ്പെട്ട് രംഗത്തെത്തിയിരിക്കുകയാണ് ഏതാനും ചില ട്വിറ്റർ ഉപയോക്താക്കൾ.
മറ്റ് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ ആളുകൾ മകരസംക്രാന്തി, പൊങ്കൽ, ബിഹു തുടങ്ങിയ ഉത്സവങ്ങൾ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ ബീഫ് സംബന്ധിച്ച ട്വീറ്റ് അനവസരത്തിലാണെന്നാണ് വിമർശനം. മുസ്ലിം സമുദായത്തിലെ അംഗങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസത്തെ വ്രണപ്പെടുത്തണമെന്ന ഉദ്ദേശത്തോടെ പന്നിയിറച്ചി വിഭവങ്ങളുടെ ഫോട്ടോകൾ പോസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്താണ് ചിലർ പ്രതികരിച്ചത്. സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ജനങ്ങൾ എന്ത് കഴിക്കണം എന്ന് അവരവർ തീരുമാനിക്കുമെന്നും അതിന് നിയമം അനുവദിക്കുന്നുണ്ട് എന്നും മറ്റു ചിലർ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി.
